Caleta Fuste

The town of Caleta de Fuste, also known as El Castillo for their fortification, El Castillo de San Buenaventura. It is currently a port of sports use located on the coast of the municipality of Antigua. Since the beginning of the 15th century and well into the nineteenth century was the port with more activity on the island due to its geographical location and the good environmental conditions.
El Castillo de San Buenaventura dates back to the 18th century and is classified as a property of cultural interest. It is a fortress built to defend the island of the pirates attacks. It was declared a historic artistic monument in 1949.
The beach of Caleta de Fuste has 800m long. It is the first artificial Beach in Fuerteventura. The area boasts many leisure facilities and sports: golf courses, jet skis, diving and to be protected from the surf beach and have all kinds of services: access by walkways of wooden, parking, restaurants, lounge chairs and umbrellas... make it ideal for family travel destination.
