Costa Calma
One of the most important tourist centres of Fuerteventura
Costa Calma is a village belonging to the municipality of Pájara, South of the island, in the so-called Peninsula of Jandia. The Peninsula of Jandía is one of the main tourist island with its immense beaches like Cofete and the extensive white or golden sand of Sotavento coast. It is the setting of the Windsurfing and Kite Surfing World Championships every year.
Costa Calma is one of the most recent populations of the municipality. Located 80 km from the airport has become in a short time in one of the most important tourist centres in Fuerteventura.
It is a quiet place, without hardly nightlife. An ideal place for a holiday of Sun, beach and sports.
Another tourist attraction, located in the neighboring town of La Lajita is the Oasis Park, a theme park with more than 780,000 m2 of nature where you can enjoy the Canarian wildlife along with exotic species from all over the world.
