It even has a Botanical Garden of Native Plants. This park has the largest reserve of camels in Europe. It is possible to do a camel ride, an unforgettable experience. In addition, you can interact with lemurs and sea lions, watch reptile, parrot, bird of prey and sea lion shows. You can’t miss visiting the children’s farm, one of the children’s favourite facilities. There you will find goats, cows, ponies, ostriches, horses, ducks, rabbits. . .

If there’s one thing Fuerteventura can boast of, it’s its long beaches, some of which are ideal for children. Among the most familiar beaches are those of Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma, Morro Jable, and the Grandes playas of Corralejo. A visit to the Salt Museum in the Antigua Salt Mines, the Museo de los Molinos in Tiscamanita and the Museo del Queso Majorero in Antigua is a great way to discover the culture and ethnography of Fuerteventura in an enjoyable way. Each of these spaces gives you a different view:
At the Salt Museum, you will learn about the history of the Salinas del Carmen, as well as the way of life of the salt workers. In the Mill Museum, you will see how a majorero mill works, you will also understand why there are so many of these mills spread throughout Fuerteventura, as well as the importance of gofio. The Majorero Cheese Museum not only reveals the history of the Majorera goat and its rich cheeses, but also has several rooms where you can learn about the geography and fauna of the island.
4. Village of La Atalayita
If you and your children are interested in the history and way of life of ancient cultures, then a visit to the village of La Atalayita in the municipality of Antigua is a must. 5. Horseback riding.
